Daniella van den Berg (born 24 May 1996 at Paradera, Aruba) is an Aruban swimmer. She is a three-time MVP for the Sagemont School, and competed in the Youth South American Championships where she won Aruba’s first-ever medal in the 800M free…won 10 medals at the Carifta Caribbean Games in April of 2014. Daniella placed ninth in the 500 free and 200 free at the FHSAA 1A State Championships.
In 2014-2015, she represented her home country of Aruba at the Pan American Games as well as the FINA World Championships and won the 1000 free against Florida Southern with a personal best time of 10:06.21. She posted a career best time in the 500 free at the Georgia Tech Invite at 4:56.10.
In 2018-19 she won the 500 free (5:05.75) at the quad meet.
At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the Women’s 800 metre freestyle, finishing in 34th place overall in the heats.
At the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Amateur Swimming Confederation (CCCAN) Championships Van Den Berg won the 400-meter freestyle in a best time 4:26.08, bettering her previous time of 4:26.42, dropping 0.34. Van den Berg and her sister Andrea, 19, were members of the winning 800-meter freestyle relay.
